I probably should have posted this sooner, but I have been busy with a big side project and it is taking up a lot of my time and energy right now.
Let's talk about the top 5 items I loved for the Summer of 2019.
Revlon ColorStay Looks Book Eye Shadow Palette in Maverick*
I love this palette, that really is all I should have to say. I love it so much and wore it almost all summer. In matte looks, shimmery looks, with just shades as a liner or just shades on my lid in a wash of colour, I wore it all over the place in lots of different ways. This is one pigmented palette in a tiny little package. I highly recommend it and am still looking to pick up some of the other shade options because it is just that good.

John Freida Frizz-Ease Thermal Protection Formula Hair Serum
As I just found out, the packaging on this one has changed, I don't know when, but it looks completely different now. I have about 5 to 7 hair serums just hanging around my house and felt that maybe it was time that I try to actually use one up. I chose this one because I remembered that John Freda was kind of the originator of hair serums. Frankly, my hair was a little frizzy this summer due to how humid it was and I swam quite a bit. My hair actually really behaved well each time I used it my hair was soft, tamed and generally looked great. I am going to keep on using this until I use it up and move on to another serum or oil.
Live Clean Deodorant
I adore Live Clean's Deodorant! It is so fantastic. I have been trying to switch from antiperspirant to deodorant for a while and this really seems to be the product I was looking for to help me make that switch. Like deodorants, it is free of aluminum, but it also has baking soda in it to help absorb odours and keep you smelling fresh. I really like the Fragrance-Free version and the Cool & Fresh scented one.

I would much rather wear body sprays or mists in the summer over perfumes. I find perfumes to heavy in the warm weather. I really love a beachy kind of scent in the summer and this one is that. It is fruity with lemon and notes of jasmine and amber. It is light and breezy, perfect for the summer.
Mac High-Light Powder in Fleur Real
I picked this up early in the summer from the Bay. It a gorgeous metallic overspray that vanished right away. Underneath was this beautiful light pink with Mac's Pearl-Matte finish, which is just lovely and the pearl isn't really noticeable. It is such a wearable shade I wear it all the time now.
