Live Clean is one of my faourite brands. It is made with ingredients that work well for me, they smell great and they are made in Canada! When I learned they launched a dry shampoo I got really excited because I just had to see what they had planned.

Setting my home up for the holidays usually gets me pretty excited. I love to put out decorations, large and small. In the end, the little details really get me excited (like putting out my holiday teapot collection). Which is probably why I am pretty excited about Live Clean's two new seasonal foaming hand washes. They add a little charm to my powder room and kitchen while making my and everyone else's hands smell great.

Both the foaming hand soaps feature the same great formula as Live Clean's Foaming Hand Wash. It cleanses without stripping your skin. It pumps out foamy and one pump will do you. It is also SLS free and contains Vitamin E as well as Lavender, Chamomile and Rosemary.
The Frosted Apple version smells like apples, cinnamon and spices. It has hints that remind me of a warm apple cider, but not as mulled and not as sweet. This is 100% my type of fall scent. I would definitely buy other products that smell like this if they ever create them. The bottle has a whole and sliced apples as well as mittens on it as a pattern.
Fresh Snow, on the other hand, smells more clean and crisp.  I cannot really explain it, but it is fresh with a tiny hint of something masculine, my one coworker described it as a mild mahogany teak scent. The bottle has a winter wonderland on it, with snowfall, cabins, trees, people and dogs in the snow.

Overall I am in love with these hand washes. I love how they set a holiday mood with their adorable patterns and festive scents all while having a great formula. Plus, because the bottle are more winter-themed, I can keep them out all winter long.

I probably should have posted this sooner, but I have been busy with a big side project and it is taking up a lot of my time and energy right now.

Let's talk about the top 5 items I loved for the Summer of 2019.

As I just found out, the packaging on this one has changed, I don't know when, but it looks completely different now. I have about 5 to 7 hair serums just hanging around my house and felt that maybe it was time that I try to actually use one up. I chose this one because I remembered that John Freda was kind of the originator of hair serums. Frankly, my hair was a little frizzy this summer due to how humid it was and I swam quite a bit. My hair actually really behaved well each time I used it my hair was soft, tamed and generally looked great. I am going to keep on using this until I use it up and move on to another serum or oil.

I would much rather wear body sprays or mists in the summer over perfumes. I find perfumes to heavy in the warm weather. I really love a beachy kind of scent in the summer and this one is that. It is fruity with lemon and notes of jasmine and amber. It is light and breezy, perfect for the summer.

This month marks a huge milestone for me, my blog, this blog, it turns 10 years old. I never thought when I started blogging that this would ever happen, so I am excited and proud. *Also as a side note, today, the 10th, is my birthday.

Live Clean has been my go-to for Canadian made, clean body products for a while now, which is why I was so excited to see that they launched a line of deodorants.

The sticks feel like any other antiperspirant or deodorant stick, maybe less slick or waxy in texture.

Live Clean has launched some new body washes, ones that are self-foaming and I've got to say that they are pretty darn neat.

As you may have noticed though past posts, I am an avid Live Clean fan. They are Canadian, make their products here, their products are environmentally friendly and dermatologist tested all while using plant-derived ingredients.

These foaming bath washes are really great, they come with the same self-foaming pumps that their foaming hand washes come with but in a much larger bottle. One pump and you've got a pile of foam and are ready to wash away. 

I usually don't use a shower puff/lily/loofah and just apply my body washes to my hands and wash up that way. I did not find that the best way to use these washes. I discovered they didn't go too far and I needed a lot of pumps. That being said, using a shower puff/lily/loofah (I just call them puffs) actually made them go so much further, and that two pumps were all I needed to do my whole body. I just wet my puff really well and put two pumps of the wash onto it and then massaged it into an over the top lather. I was actually shocked at how much more they lathered up doing it this way.
Moringa & Matcha Butter Antioxidant Foaming Body Wash:
This was is by far my favourite. I love the scent of Moringa, it is light and floral but not an overpowering scent for a flower. I also really love Matcha it is fresh and is a scent I associate with morning tea. The two scents go together really well, but the mooring is what you really smell.

It has butters from both Moringa and Matcha in them, which are loaded with antioxidant-rich Vitamin C and is supposed to give your skin a glow. I don't know about the glow, but I do know my skin likes this body wash a lot.
Mango & Aloe Butter Sensitive Foaming Body Wash:
With rich Mango Butter and hydrating Aloe Butter, this formula also contains Oat kernel Oil for those with sensitive skin.  This wash is also unscented, which is really nice, just because you can't have fragrances doesn't' mean you don't want a nice body wash.

I find this one super hydrating and I in no way miss having a scent to it.
If you have dry skin (that's me) you may love this wash. It has Shea and Murumuru butters in its as well as Hyaluronic Acid to help hydrate your skin.

This has been great on cold days, I hate how dry my skin can get and it really helps to have a great wash that not only doesn't strip my skin of moisture but also helps hydrate it.
Overall I am adoring these washes. All three have been living in my shower for the last few months. All three, I never leave three body washes in there, I just don't have the room. I just love using them that much. They are rich, have a great lather, leave my skin soft and hydrated all while rinsing really easy without any residue.

Live Clean has launched a collection of their Moisturizing Liquid Hand Soaps just for the holiday season. With three festive scents, these hand soaps are moisturizing and gentle on hands all while smelling amazing. They also have some pretty cute but not over the top holiday designs on them.

Gingerbread Latte:

Live Clean makes some pretty fantastic products, today I am going to look at their Foaming Hand Wash.

Live Clean already makes a great line of hand washes already, but these ones are different because they are self-foaming. Just one pump gives you a lush handful of foamy soap. All of the hand washes do an excellent job of cleansing my hands, while not stripping them of moisture. There isn't anything harsh in them that ends up drying them out, but they still work extremely well at getting my hands clean. Gentle and effective, it's a perfect combo.

Vanilla Bean & Coconut:
Vanilla is a classic scent that is pretty much universally pleasing, mixed with the warmth of coconut it makes for a darn nice hand wash scent. I brought this one into work so I could get some co-workers opinions on the soaps. They really liked the mellow and warm light scent and how well the wash worked. Since we have to wash our hands dozens of times in a day, it was really nice to use a wash that wasn't drying and was already foamy. Also, the one pump is all you need factor was great, we weren't overusing product anymore (which results in extra time rinsing and waisting soap).

Lemon Mint:
Lemon and mint are two of my favourite scents/foods/flavours. I grew up munching mint that grew in my childhood garden and still grow three different types every summer. Lemon, on the other hand, is just clean, fresh and bright and maybe one of my favourite fruits. This hand wash has both these favourites in one and it does it pretty darn well. Neither scent is overwhelming, but they are prominent enough that you can smell them, and they smell nice together. I hear a lot of people like this one in the kitchen, but I have been keeping it in our main washeroom and both Mr. Fox and I have been enjoying it quite a lot.

Neither scent is overwhelming, it is a light scent that smells nice while using it and lingers lightly after your hands are dry.

White Tea & Cherry:
Of all the scents, this one excited me the most. I love cherries and I love tea even more. This is a floral-sweet scent that works really well together. Light and clean, it really works as a hand wash. I put this one in our newly redone powder room so that guest can experience the clean floral-fruity scent when visiting

On top of all how well the hand washes work and how nice they smell, there are some other reasons to really like it.

Overall I am extremely impressed with these hand washes. I am not usually a huge fan of foaming handwashes, I find they don't do the best job of cleaning and require many pumps to get a good amount of soap on my hands, which leads to waste. But Live Clean impresses me that I only need one pump and it is always the right amount. The scents are light and not overpowering, the formula is cleansing but not stripping. My hands are sore no matter how much I use it, and that is a good thing. Plus it never hurts that it is a Canadian brand that makes environmentally friendly products.
