This is a great creamy body wash that leaves my skin soft and clean without drying it out. With Vitamin E Hyaluronate, Rosemary and Chamomile it helps keep my skin nice and hydrated even when the weather is terrible. I love that it is 98% naturally derived and SLS free.
Fresh Water Hydrating Liquid Hand Soap 500 ml:
Cold weather mixed with cold and flu season usually means dry hands, lucky for me this hand soap is gentle and creamy and prevents my skin from getting all dried out. It is formulated for those with normal to dry skin so it really is great this time of year.
Fresh Water Hydrating Body Lotion 500 ml:
I adore this lotion this time of year, it has a great consistency and a pump for ease of use. I really love how just having this nearby in the colder month can really stop my skin from drying out.
Cool & Fresh Deodorant:
This is my favourite of all four Live Clean Deodrants, it smells fresh and clean while keeping me dry and smelling great. With none of the stuff you don't want (aluminum,  propylene glycol and parabens) and all the things you do (baking soda, corn starch and 99% naturally derived ingredients) it really does an amazing job.
Fresh Water Hydrating Shampoo and Conditioner 350 ml:
*I realized after I edited the photos that I was sent 2 conditioners, that being said you will be sent a shampoo and a conditioner if you win the giveaway*
Dry hair is something no one wants to deal with, as the weather cools it can become something we all can experience. Using a creamy shampoo and conditioner meant for dry hair that helps hydrate makes a big difference in keeping your hair feeling and looking great in the weather. This line is meant to do just that. I really adore all Live Clean shampoos and conditioners and these are no exception, my hair just drinks it up and the results show.

After a few years of being the it beauty ingredient, Coconut Oil is still a reigning champ in the beauty multi-tasker department. Palmer's has a new line of coconut oil rich products that are all contain Raw Coconut Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, and Vitamin E as well as do not contain any Parabens, Phthalates, Mineral Oil, Gluten, Sulfates, or Dyes. The products also contain ethically and substantially sourced ingredients, which is pretty amazing.

PALMER’S COCONUT OIL FORMULA BODY CREAM - 125g - $7.99
Palmer's Coconut Oil Formula products contain ethically and sustainably sourced Coconut Oil and Tahitian Monoï Oil, infused with Tiaré flower petals. These raw, natural ingredients deliver luxuriously rich moisturisation for decadently pampered skin. -ca.palmers.com
While this is supposed to be a body cream, it clearly is a body butter to me. It is so rich and thick that it holds its shape after you touch it. While thick and creamy it absorbs nicely to the skin and isn't greasy.

A little is all you need, a dab goes a really long way. I love to use it on my elbows, knees, feet and hands to get those dry spots nice and hydrating. I honestly feel this tub may last me the rest of my life because of how little I need to use to completely hydrate all my dry skin.

PALMER’S COCONUT OIL FORMULA BODY LOTION - 250 ml - $5.99
Palmer's Coconut Oil Formula products contain ethically and sustainably sourced Coconut Oil and Tahitian Monoï Oil, infused with Tiaré flower petals. These raw, natural ingredients deliver luxuriously rich moisturisation for decadantly pampered skin. Palmer's Coconut Oil Body Lotion contains high levels of naturally occuring fatty acids and proteins that are essential in keeping skin radiant and healthy looking.
This lotion feels amazing. It isn't too watery, a little goes a long way, and bonus it smells like coconut, well all these products do, but real coconut because it has real coconut in it, which is a 1000% better then fake coconut scent to me. It and the other products in this line also give your skin an amazing glow after application, which is nice because it isn't a greasy line.

PALMER’S COCONUT OIL FORMULA BODY OIL - 150 lm - $5.99
Palmer's Coconut Oil Formula products contains ethically and sustainably sourced Coconut Oil and Tahitian Monoï Oil, infused with Tiaré flower petals. These raw, natural ingredients deliver luxuriously rich moisturisation for decandtly pampered skin. Palmer's Coconut Oil Body Oil deeply hydrates, rejuvenating and replenishing skin's moisture and radiance. -ca.palmers.com
I am a massive fan of Palmer's Skin Therapy Oil, so I was pretty excited to try out this Coconut Body Oil. I love that it isn't full of mineral oil like so many other body oils. It smells amazing (like the whole line) and it is incredibly reasonably priced ($5.99 at Walmart). The bonus part is it comes in a pump for less wasted product and mess.

My skin gets chap and cracks a lot throughout the year, but these colder months are quite painful for me. I like to use the oil straight out of the shower, and after every time I wash my hands (I apply it to my entire arms). The last month of using it has my skin has really improved. I find the oil absorbs quite fast and never feels greasy (it is almost like a dry oil, but not quite).

Overall I love this line. Palmer's has once again delivered some products that my dry, chap and sensitive skin enjoys. I love that the ingredients are ethically and sustainably sourced, don't contain mineral oil or parabens (as well as a bunch of other stuff). It also is a big plus that Palmer's is against animal testing and a family owned. Oh and did I mention they are extremely affordably? $5.99 - $7.99 is really really a good price for these products.

Giveaway:
Now here is the really great part, Palmer's has been so kind as to let me host a giveaway. I will be giving away three prizes of all three products. That is right three people will be getting the Body Lotion, Body Oil and Body Cream.

Winner will be chosen on December 5th and contacted via email. You will have 48 hours to get back to me with your contact information. To enter you must be a resident of Canada and of the age of majority in your region.

I love lip balm, I really do. I have an extensive collection now and it just keeps on getting bigger. You may ask why I have so many? The truth is I love to put one just about everywhere I can think of. My purse, the car, my beauty room (aka the office), work place desk, coat, bedside table, then a bunch of other purses I will forget I have them in. So you see I end up with a lot, but that's OK. I like having different options in different locations, it keeps me from getting bored.
I recently was sent 8 different lip balms from Burt's Bees, all in different flavours. I am also giving away all 8 of them, so if you want to win 8 of your own, then keep on reading.
Original Beeswax Lip Balm with Vitamin E and Peppermint
This classic is their best selling lip balm, and for good reason, it contains actual Peppermint Oil, it also has Coconut and Sunflower Oils in it. As a massive mint fan, I love the flavour and the slight tingle it gives.
Where I keep it? My purse! I love mint and want it with me everywhere I go.
Honey Lip Balm with Vitamin E
With a sweet hint of real Honey and the hydration of Vitamin E, Shea Butter, Almond Oil and Cocoa Butter you really can't go wrong with a classic like this.
Where I keep it? In the car, they I is really hydrating when the heat is cranked up high.
Replenishing Lip Balm with Pomegranate Oil
Pomegranate Oil is loaded with anti-oxidants that help your lips recover during the long cold days. It also has Sunflower Seed and Coconut Oil in it. I even has a slight tint to even out your lips skin tone, so it is a great day time lip balm.
Where I keep it? My desk at work. I can reapply it all day with all the hot coffee and tea I drink to sooth my lips and give them a slight tint.
Nourishing Lip Balm with Mango Butter
Mango Butter! Need I say more. Mango butter is fantastic stuff, soothes and replenishes soar and chap lips with a nice sweet taste and scent.
Where I keep it? My Beauty Office.  I need to take lipstick on and off when swatching and trying on looks, this one helps prime and prep my lips and helps heal them after I take it all off.
Refreshing Lip Balm with Pink Grapefruit
With Vitamin C & E from Pink Grapefruit Seed Oil, this is a very serious lip balm if you want to soften your lips. It is also very Refreshing (hence the name) due to the citrus punch it packs.
Where I keep it? The Husband gets this one. He loves Grapefruit, I mean he really loves it.
Vanilla Bean Moisturizing Lip Balm
Shea Butter and Vitamin E help keep your lips moisturized on even the worst of days, while comforting Natural Vanilla tastes amazing. Definitely a classic balm.
Where I keep it? In the den. I spend a lot of my at home time in the den, it gets kind of dry down there and I don't want my lips to dry out.
Hydrating Lip Balm with Coconut & Pear
Coconut Oil and Shea Butter help your lips feel hydrated and healthy. Pear Extract with the Coconut Oil make this balm decadent and tropical.
Where I keep it? The bed side table. I love to put a nice hydrating balm on right before bed.
Apple Caramel Lip Balm
This is a new and limited edition flavour for the winter season. Sunflower Seed oil helps moisturize your dry lips while a fruity, tart, buttery and sweet flavour makes you want to apply it all the time. It really taste just like a Caramel Apple!
Where I keep it? In my coat. I a want this with me all the time, I am absolutely obsessed.

What my thoughts are:
I really like Burt's Bees as a brand, they have great quality products that are natural and really do work wonders. Their lip balms are no exception. They are all 100% natural, are naturally flavoured and contain great nourishing properties for your lips. They also taste great and have an amazing selection of flavours to choose from.

Here is your chance to win the full Burt's Bees Lip Balm collection.

I've always been a huge fan of oils, as cleansers, moisturizers and in place of face serums. I recently discovered Palmer's Skin Therapy line and fell in love. It covers all your bases, body, face and cleansing, all using cocoa butter as its foundation. The best part is (other than how well it works) is that it is very, very affordable.
Palmers Skin Therapy Cleansing Oil ($7.99):

Hands down, this is my favourite product in the line. I love a good cleaning oil. For years I've struggled with my dry and dehydrated skin. In the past cleansers left my skin dry, tight and very uncomfortable. Since I switched to cleansing oils, I've found that my skin is left clean, hydrated and smooth. There is no tightness or dryness. No patting my skin dry thinking, 'my skin is parched, what have I done?".

While I generally love cleansing oils, not all are created equal, which is why I love this one, it is one of the best I have ever tried. It is a bit thicker than most (think Bobbi Brown or Origins for constancy) which lets you really get the dirt, makeup and oil off your face efficiently. It has a nice locking pump which helps you get the right amount out and not make a mess. Another thing that sets this product apart, there is no mineral oil in it! None, which seems to be a main ingredient in many brands (even high end ones).  Plus it just works really well and leaves no residue on your skin.

Skin Therapy Oil Face:
Their new face oil is also fantastic. It is a great idea for anyone with dry skin (that's me) or anyone looking to improve their completion.  If you read my hiatus post, you know I've been under crazy stress, well there is nothing better to make you break out that stress. I am now left with some new post-acne marks I am trying to fade. The Retinol and Vitamin C in this oil really help fade the marks faster.

It also contains some very soothing oils in it, which helps again with my dryness, but also as an anti-aging product.

With 10 oils in it (Sesame Oil, Coconut Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Macadamia Nut Oil, Apricot Oil, Argan Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Rosehip Oil, Camelina Oil and Sunflower Oil) it has a very light texture, so anyone who is afraid of oil causing breakouts shouldn't worry. It's so light because (again) it has no mineral oil in it (a breakout culprit too).

Skin Therapy Oil ($9.97):

Ok skin oil is a big thing. Anyone who has gotten a scratch or scar in the last ten years has told me how a big name brand oil has helped them so much reduce the redness of their scar faster. I believe them and love the idea of a skin oil, but they are way way to price 90% of the time and smell like lavender so much I just can't use it. Palmer's version is not only way more affordable it smells like lightly of rosehips, so I don't want to run away from it. It also applies much easier. I don't find it as dry as other brands, yet it still absorbs really quickly letting me move on with my day (in other words get dressed). It also has a pump! A PUMP people! Ingenuous (anyone else hate shaking oil out like malt vinegar on fries?).

I really do like this product, it has some pretty amazing ingredients in it  (Cocoa Butter, Vitamin E, Cetesomate-E, Sesame Oil, Canola Oil and Rosehip Oil) and no mineral oil, preservatives or parabens in it I am sold.

I had a bad stretch at the grooming store this spring where I managed to get about 10 different bad cat scratches on me within a week. My arm looked a mess. I knew I was going to scar, but since using this oil I found my skin is far less red and the scars are far softer and hurt less. Also my dry skin is much more hydrated and I don't feel oily or residuey like with other lotions or oils.

Seriously, I am not going to spend $20+ on a skin oil that's first ingredient is mineral oil when there is something thins great out there for far less without mineral oil in it.

Overall I am loving these products, they are helping my skin stay clean and hydrated, they are helping fix up my marks and scars. As well they are all mineral oil free and highly affordable, which is something I always love in a product line.

On that note the fine people over at Palmer's have given me the opportunity to have a giveaway so some of you can try out these great products too!

I'm giving away 3 packages that include: Palmer’s Skin Therapy Oil FACE, Palmer’s Skin Therapy Oil Rosehip and Skin Therapy Cleansing Oil FACE.

You must be a Canadian resident to enter and fill out the entry below.

I've been on the search for the L'oreal Paris La Palette Nude 2 for about a month now. None of the stores near me were selling it. This last week my luck changed, I went to my Rexall and saw a display featuring both the 1 and 2 palette for $12.49. I could not believe it, since most drug stores were selling it for $29.99 (while Walmart was selling it for $23.98).

I went and snatched up two of each palette right away.
The best part is I am giving one of each away to you guys.

I'm most excited that I now have more matte shades to work with in the rose gold colour. I love my UD Naked 3 palette but find it really lacks in the mattes, this might fix that and give me some more work day apropriate options.
I picked up the La Nude 1 as well because of the price and as well just because it looked so darn pretty and I just can't resist a nice nude palette (I know I have more than enough).
How To Win:

Enter using the Rafflecopter below.

This contest will run until June 6th and is open to Canadian mailing addresses only.

This is not a sponsored contest, I paid for these items myself and will be shipping them myself.

A little while back I discovered I Love... a bath and body brand that is sold exclusively at Shoppers Drug Mart.
I tried out the I Love...Strawberry and Cream Bubble Bath and Shower Creme and fell in love. It has quickly become my favourite bubble bath. My baths are filled pillows of foamy bubbles and a fantastic strawberry scent. Just a fantastic bubble bath, and I love my bubble baths.

A few weeks ago I got the chance to try out their Raspberry and Blackberry Spritzer. It smells just like fresh berries! I find it a great option for days that I not in the mood to wear a perfume or just want to freshen up. So fruity and up lifting in this drab winter weather.
Bubble Bath and Shower Creme Review:
Pros:
  • Big bold bubbles
  • Amazing fruity scent
  • Great body wash that doesn't strip the skin of moisture
  • Available at Shoppers Drug Mart
Cons:
  • None
Overall:
A great bubble bath or body wash that smells great and is gentle to skin. Really not much more to say, fantastic.
Spritzer Review:
Pros:
  • Smells fresh
  • Not too strong or overpowering
  • $4.99!
  • Available at Shoppers Drug Mart
Cons:
  • Wont last all day (but it isn't a perfume it is body spray, so you should expect that)
Overal:
A great fresh fruity scent for any time, I find it a nice pick me up. I really want to get the coconut scented one...mmm coconuts.

Ok so now on to the Contest!
I am lucky enough to give away one lucky Canadian resident a I Love... product and an adorible heart shaped locket. To see what products are available click here.

Recently I recived this adorable suitcase themed box from the good people at Revlon Canada.

Revlon ColorStay Moisture Stain in New York Scene
Revlon ColorSTay Gel Envy in Checkmate and All In and the Diamond Top Coat

How to get the look
  1. Apply Oyster Shadow all over lids and brow bone area.
