Beauty Vixen

It is that time again for my annual ELF Haul. I only order once a year when they have their 50% off sale. I do this to save money and so I don't just go wild all year long.
Studio Foundation in Porcelain, Studio HD Lifting Concealer in Fair, Studio Tinted Moisturizer in Porcelain, and Studio Maximum Coverage Concealer in Porcelain.
Studio Mineral Infused Primer in Clear, Green and Lavender.
 Various studio brushes
Waterproof Eyeliner pencils (I ordered the triple pointed ones but was mistakenly sent the normal ones in black and the right one in brown), Studio Eyebrow Treat and Tame in Medium and Dark, Studio Exact Lash Mascara and Individual Lashes.
2 of the Studio HD under eye setting powder, Studio Radiance Enhancer in Spotlight, Studio Lip Lock Pencil and Studio Makeup Remover Pen.
Studio Baked Blush in Pinktastic, Studio HD Blush in Superstar, Cover Everything Concealer in Corrective Yellow and Light, Studio Contour Blush and Bronzing Cream in St. Lucia and Mineral Eye Brightener in Buff.
Lip stain in Berry Blush and Pink Petal, Studio Long Lasting Lustrous Eyeshadow in Confeti and Pressed Mineral Eyeshadow in Wedding Party.
Another shot of the eye brightner, HD blush, Cream Blush and the Baked Blush, all unboxed.
Another shot of the Pressed mineral shadow in Wedding Party
The entire haul unboxed.

This lightweight and hydrating formula is breathable and provides anti-aging sun protection with UVA/UVB SPF 20. Achieve even skin tone and naturally radiant skin with this moisturizing sheer tint of color. The smooth formula enhances your complexion with the nourishing key ingredients Aloe, Cucumber and Vitamins A, C & E. -eyeslipsface.com
To be honest I did not like this product at all when I first got it. I found it a  bit too sheer for my liking. As time went on and I forced myself to use it I realized I love it.

I love it in the summer but hate it in the winter. Which is odd, or at least I think so.

I guess I reach for tinted moisturizers more in the summer, I feel they won't melt off my face, cover moisturizing and evening in one step and in this case have full coverage spf protection.
Don't get me wrong, when I want more coverage I still reach for my Laura Mercier, but when it is just a hot summer day this works just fine. Sometimes I'll even use a loaded up powder puff filled with a tinted powder over it to set it.

If you've ever tried Mark's Get a Tint I highly recommend checking this out.
Pros:
  • Cheap ($3 for 20 ml)
  • Loaded with vitamins
  • Full coverage SPF 20 (most only do UVB and not UVA so make sure to check every time you buy a product claiming to have SPF)
  • 7 Shades (I'm Porcelain)
  • Doesn't smell like the ELF Essentials line tinted moisturizer does
  • Found it lightweight
Cons:
  • Very sheer (if you want a fuller coverage tinted moisturizer this isn't it)
  • Hard to find in Canada (Winner's might have it)
Overall:
I like this stuff quite a bit in the summer, for the price I really don't think it is possible to make too many complaints. I think if you are at all thinking of doing an elf order you should toss one in you shopping cart and give it a shot, after all it is only $3.

Yesterday I got my Elf order. I placed an order about a week ago when there was a 50% the studio and mineral lines coupon.

This is what I got:
  • 2 x Studio Face Primer
  • Studio Mini Eyelash Curler
  • Matte Nail Polish Top Coat
  • Studio Matte Lip Color in Tea Rose
  • Studio Matte Lip Color in Natural
  • Studio Flawless Foundation in Porcelain
  • Studio Tinted Moisturize in Porcelain
  • Studio Blush in Gotta Glow
  • Studio Mist and Set
Gotta Glow Blush
Matte Lip Colors
Foundation & Tinted Moisturizer
Matte Nail Polish
Mini Lash Curler
Mist & Set
Primer
See I didn't go nuts this time....I controlled myself and only got 10 items. In case you didn't know I am prone to ordering way too much stuff from ELF, pretty much because I want to try it and it is so cheap on sale.

So Sine I've only tried the primer before, I cannot say a whole lot about the products I ordered. Excited to try them all out.

The only down side, the blush is damaged...just a little. Not worth complaining about.
