Get the red carpet’s most iconic flared-out lash look with L’Oréal Paris’ new Voluminous Butterfly Mascara. The newest member to the legendary family of Voluminous mascaras enables women to achieve this coveted lash look with the simple stroke of its innovative new “butterfly” mascara brush. The new, wing-tipped asymmetrical brush features two unique sides including one with shorter bristles for serious fringe volume boosting and lengthening. While the other side of the brush is curved with a mix of short-to-long bristles for grabbing and separating each lash for a full, flared-out finish. The new formula offers 6x the volume of regular mascaras. “Cocoon smart” fibers individually cover lashes instead of wrapping them together for maximum lash separation and flare. Voluminous Butterfly Mascara is available in three shades including Black, Blackest Black and Black Brown. -lorealparisusa.com
To say that the wait for this mascara to come to Canada has felt like forever would be an understatement. I first heard about it on twitter in the spring and have been anxious ever since. Why? One, it looks amazing, just look at that brush. Second, butterflies! I love butterflies. It was first released in France and was launched under the French name for butterfly, papillon. Ok so now you're say so what. Well, I love butterflies because I have a papillon dog, a butterfly dog. So all in all...I'm excited, so excited here is a picture of my dog, Monty.
Monty, my little butterfly dressed up as Marty McFly on halloween.
Ok so back to the mascara. This want is crazy! It gives a lift like I have never seen. Boldness, Drama, Thick and Full Lashes.  doesn't clump. The brush makes it really easy to get right at the base of the lash. It is everything you could ever want. See my pics below. My left eye has the mascara and right has nothing. What a difference.
Available: Now in mass-market retailers and drugstores across Canada.
Suggested Retail Price: $11.99
