Revlon recently relaunched their blushes with 9 new shades and a great new formula. Naturally I was intrigued…I love blush.

When I first saw Wine Not (004) I was a little frightened, I mean that is one deep wine/plum shade, and I am well…one pale gal.

So the colour it is well, wine. Wine to me is a berry with a bit of purply-ness to it. I now retire from poor colour descriptions for the rest of the post. None the less colours with a purple tone are some of my favourite shades, but sadly I don't own too many for just lack of finding ones that will not be crazy bold on me. I mean come on, I don't want to have a clown face.

Wine not despite looking so strong in the pan went on really really nicely. I used a duo fibre blush brush out of fear of over over applying it.  To my surprise it is not as pigmented as it looks, but it is buildable, thus making it fantastic for my pale skin tone or any for that matter. No duo fibre brush required, that is unless that is what you want to use.

A couple of swipes and I had a great flush of colour on my cheeks that really suits any purple look I am going for.

Pleasantly surprised that I can wear such a strong looking colour, control the intensity and it is extremely blendable I really have no complaints about this fantastic shade.

So here are some looks using it.

So there you go….a great purple/wine blush that looks great with a few looks. I personally am loving it and have been getting tons of complements on it.

Have you tried any of the new Revlon Blushes? What do you think of wine toned blushes?
