Beauty Vixen

I decided to order myself a Beautylish Lucky Bag this year. It showed up yesterday just in time for Lunar New Year. This way my first time ordering from Beautylish and it all went really smoothly.
If you didn't know Beautylish makes mystery boxes in the spirit of giving for the LNY. The boxes get decorated with fancy paper that reflect the current year and get a bunch of items worth way more than the box costs. This year being the year of the tiger brings a bunch of gorgeous designs to the wrapping.
Without further ado, what I got in my box.
Good Molecules Gentle Retinol Cream /30 ml / $11 Cad
This is apparently a great retinol that is good for sensitive skin and 0.1% retinol in it. I have yet to try anything from Good Molecules so it is interesting to me.
BrioGeo Be Gentle, Be Kind Aloe + Oat Milk Ultra Soothing Fragrance-Free Detangler / 177 ml / $31 Cad
I have only tried the BrioGeo scalp scrub and conditioner from their 2020 Sephora birthday gift  so trying a detangler is about perfect for me. This is supposed to be great for those with sensitivities to scent and is easy on the scalp and hair.
Danessa Myricks Beauty ColorFix 24-Hour Cream Color Glaze in Cupcake / 10 ml / $25 Cad
I know nothing of Danessa Mayrick Beauty line, like nothing at all. This is an eye, lip and cheek gloss. It sounds pretty interesting but not sure if I am excited about it or not.
Hourglass No. 28 Lip Treatment Oil in Nocturnal / 7.5 ml / $65 Cad
This is a lip oil and tint all in one. I know nothing about this products at all, I have only ever tried a handful of Hourglass products so it exciting and has pretty high price point.
Wayne Goss Goss Edit Brush 01 / $67 Cad
I have never tried any WG brushes before, they are exclusive to Beautylish. I have only heard excellent things about his brushes. I am not one to buy expensive brushes anymore, well not since I discovered brands that are high quality at lower prices, so this overall is an exciting item for me. I have over 300 brushes in my collection at the moment and any new addition to it excites me more then I can express.
Charlotte Tilbury Instant Eye Palette - Smokey Eyes Are Forever / 9.5 g / $102 Cad
This is a limited edition eye palette that has 12 shadows in it.
It is absolutely gorgeous and worth what I paid for the box. So this alone makes the whole thing worth while. Sadly I have a very similar palette from a few years back from CT so I may not be holding onto this one.
Ok so there you go, what I got in my 2022 Year of the Tiger Lucky Bag from Beautylish. I paid $124.67 for my box on my credit card, its value is $301. As for value this box was well worth it. I got a good variety of products, from hair care and skin care to makeup and even a tool. I could easily use everything in it. Somehow I am not as excited about everything as I thought I would. I saw a lot of other boxes that were way more disappointing and way more exciting. So I do think I did pretty darn well.
Before I go, take a look at this wrapping paper....so cute.

Sephora had their annual VIB sale...which means I went crazy. 20% off can do that to a gal.

Stila : Artist Essentials Set
Not sure what gravitated me to this set, the artist style box, the four palettes within it or all the other goodies. For $71 I would have never splurged on it, but with 20% off I managed to snatch up the last one.
For those interested here is a press photo of it....so pretty.
Sephora Favourites: Glitz and Glam. I got one of these a few years back and loved everything I got in it so I thought I would try my hand at it again.
I'm not so interested in the nail polish but everything else seems like a fantastic deal.
Hourglass: Ambient in Mood Light: I wanted Dim light but it was sold out. I decided to get this one after some debating. It is still a lot of cash to drop on one item but I thought I would see what all the fuss is about.

At cash I saw a few point peers that I wanted. Since I had not used any in over a year I thought it was time to go crazy.
Best of Stila Collection.  This comes with minis of 5 of their top sellers. The click up lipgloss is the same size you get in holiday packs too.
Tate Amazonian Treasures Collection. This one features a few of their top Amazonian line products. I am excited to try.
Finally I got a Stila tinted lip balm in Vivienne for 100 points. I already have a full size in the shade Betsy so I am really excited to give another shade a try.

So that is what I got? Did you get anything?
