Yes another round of stuff I've used up or I am tossing. Woot woot. Yes I get excited when I toss stuff, because it is out of my life forever and that is a good thing when you live in a 1 bedroom apartment.

Let's get started
Glossybox lashes: I got these in a  glossybox, way way back when (not even going to bother looking up a link to it for you, not worth the effort). These have a thick thick band, so I never wore them. Not once, I'm sure they would have been difficult to use with such a thick band.

Boujois Healthy Mix Serium Foundation in 51: I got this about 2 years ago and I actually used it up. I am super excited that I actually used a fluid foundation. Would I buy it again? Yes. It was a nice foundation that matched my skin really well

Makeup Forever Mist and Fix:  I feel like I had this forever and ever. I liked it as a spray to get rid of powder on my finished face but I just wasn't sure about it fixing properties. It smelled nice and felt good on the skin though. Would I buy it again?  I heard they re did this product and it is much better now (not that I thought it was bad before ) so I probably will buy it again at sometime, for now I am trying out the new smash box primer spray that also is a fixer.

ELF Studio Primer with spf: This was supposed to be limited edition when I ordered it, but it is still on the site. I honestly popped it into a tube that was 8ml so that I could get rid of the bulky packaging. I have yet to really give it a go.. Would I buy it again? Maybe, I like the idea of spf in my primer and that it is so cheap.

Elf Studio Poreless Primer: I got this before the spf version and also stuck it in a tube. I am glad I did, it is so much less bulk. I like this one, while I don't have oily skin, I do like the idea of minimizing what pores I do have and giving my slightly oily areas a bit more oil protection Would I buy it again? No, I think I would just stick with my regular versions or the spf or hydrating.

In case you haven't seen how much spare packaging an elf primer has (it is a thing elf does to make their products seem much bigger than they are, which is just wasteful) here is a link to a empties post where I put some other primers in tubs and took apart all the wasteful plastic.

The Body Shop Moisture It Primer: This was an ok primer. It always seemed runny and that  I would waist a lot as a result. It also never felt like a real primer to me. Since I'm being really honest, it was also small. I just feel it didn't live up to The Body Shop name. Luckily I think I got it on the cheap with a 3 for $30 deal or something like that. Would I buy it again? Nope, no no no.

Almay Intense I-Color Eyeliner in amethyst: This is old, really old. The packaging has since changed, and a long time ago. So I must say goodbye to this well loved liner. I used to wear this almost everyday.  Would I buy it again? Yes, I would, I will....must wait for a sale. Getting nervous that I don't have it now and want it.

Laura Mercier Secret Brighting Powder: I've had this for a while, I got it with some type of gift bag with purchase. I used it all up so I am happy about that. It was great for finishing my makeup and not changing the colour of anything like blush. Would I buy it again? I would, but for right now I am finishing up a MUFE HD powder.

NYX Loose Powder Shadow in Charcoal Pearl: Oh my I had this a while. I forgot I had it. Oh here it is way back when  I hauled it, I meant to grab another colour and made a mistake. That being said I never used any of those, what the heck did I do with all of them? Ok So I never used it, so it's getting tossed. Would I buy it again? Never used it, so no.

NYX Jumbo Lip Pencil in 724 Chaos:  I buy things and think they will look good on me, and never end up wearing them. This is one of those cases. While I like the product, the texture is a bit thick, I just don't reach for it Would  I buy it again? No. I never wore it.

Ok, so there was another round of 10 I'm tossing. I actually used up a foundation, a mini powder and a setting powder. I feel accomplished this round.

Have you tossed anything lately?

Another month, another big batch of empties. Woo, I'm feeling good about his purge.
Let is see what is in my outgoing empties mail bin.
Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips custom Eye Enhancing Mascara Duo in Green Eyes (black side): So I've had this forever, but I use disposable wands with the green side, which is why I got it in the first place. I was sick of having the black hang around when I never used it. So I FINALLY (been trying forever) popped it off, leaving me with the green side. Would I buy it again? Yes, I like these mascaras and they have such strong coloured sides, the black is great too, I just couldn't justify having that part around any longer.
Marcelle BB Cream in light: I love this product and used every drop of it up. Would I buy it again? YES! I've got the SPF version on the go right now.
Bourjois Volumizer Mascara: This is a double wand mascara. Would I buy it again? No I like the rimmel version better.
ELF Studio Mist & Set: A finishing spray from elf Would I buy it again?  No, I like the bottle, sprayer and the product better in the ELF Mineral line better.
Mary Kay Satin Hands Smoothie Hand Scrub in Peach:  I love this stuff, it lasts forever. Would I buy it again? Yes! I have big pump of it in my washroom right now.
Joe Fresh Nail Polish Remover in Regular: I got this for the pump Would I buy it again?  No,  I need full acetone, I cannot bother with anything less.
The Body Shop Natrulift Serum: I love this stuff so much it isn't even funny  Would I buy it again? Yes, but I bought the VIT C version and I need to use it up (BTW I am hating the smell of the Vit C line).
ELF Studio Lotioin Wipes in Vanilla and Coconut:  I love these in the summer for fast moisture Would I buy it again? Maybe, they dried out really fast.

So that is what fit into my mail box, but wait there is more in a bin.
So these are three perfumes I just never ever wore and am choosing to toss or give to someone, or ditch in the buildings laundry room (it is where you put crap for people to take, ex. VHS tapes, old books, CDs).
Avon Ungaro, Avon Make Me Smile abd Nina Ricci  L'air.
John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Conditioner: oh my lordy, another one of these.  Would I buy it again? NO!!!! How many of these did I buy when they were at dollarama? What's that? I'm on the last one, it is almost gone. WOOO!
Nexxus Conditioner: I got this in a GlossyBox Would I buy it again? maybe, I did like it a lot.
Makeup Forever HD Elixir: I love this stuff Would I buy it again? Already onto a new bottle.
Constant Beauty Foaming Face Wash I never really liked self foaming washes  Would I buy it again? No.
EOS Lip Balm in Honeysuckle: I hate this stuff, over rated and waxy.  Would I buy it again? No.
M. Asad Magic Fini: I got this in a glymm box and I got two somehow. Would I buy it again? Maybe, I do like it.
ELF Studio Complexion Perfecter Powder:  I actually really like this powder, I hit the pan and only a bit remains Would I buy it again? YEs, I have another one and one in warm that I plan on opening up.

July went by fast didn't it? I spent the last week of it in sunny (and crazy hot) Mexico. Had a great time, but I fried my hair in the sun, pool and ocean, didn't wear much makeup at all, and got burned to a crisp snorkelling with sea turtles (worth it).

So now back to reality it is, here are my favourites for July.

Mark. Give it to Me Straight.  Super Smoothing Lotion
With the frizzy humid days that we have had in Toronto recently it has given me a good chance to try this stuff out. It locks humidity out, smooth out hair and protects it from heat. I have loved the results when using my straightening iron with it, but also just love it on hot days to tame my wavy hair and keep it a bit more straight and under control.

Mark. Double Duo. Shape and Gloss Kit
This little flippable duo is easy to carry around and convent. I love putting a bit of the balm in my hair when pulling it back or into braids. The wax part is great for fly aways and just general taming when out. In this humidity it is just great.

L'oreal Kerastase Reflections Chroma Reflect Masque
This was a tiny little one dose sample, and I am so glad I took it on vacation with me. After swimming and sweating all the time I was showering about 3 times a day. Every-time using conditioner to repair my hair (no shampoo I go co-poo remember) but it was still getting fried. Then I used this...one dose but it did a great job. I loved it and might get some more after I use up all my beloved L'oreal Total Repair 5 Repair Masks that I have hanging around ...I have quite a few by the way.

Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum in 51
I got this in June and have barley used it but I love the finish an texture of it...just love it.

L'oreal True Match Lumi
I love the finish of this foundation, I love how it feels and looks on my skin. I wish I could say I love the spf 20 in it, but it only covers UVB and therefore I have to forget the spf all together (sorry it is true). But I still really love this foundation and have worn it whenever I get the chance.

Marcelle BB + Antiaging + SPF
I love the texture and finish of this BB, it is just as amazing as the original. It is so great on hot days to fix up your skin without fuss and muss, also great to skip heavy moisturizers because it does it all. Unfortunatly only UVB coverage as well so, a little disappointed there and I still have to put on sunscreen.

ELF Studio SPF 45 Sunscreen UVA/UVB Protection
This stuff comes in a big black box with a large puff inside. I have chosen to use this as my powder in the summer because one it is effective as a powder and two gives me 45 spf level protection in a mineral form. I use the load a puff and press and roll method to apply (see my video above), not only does this work great it makes it last all day. I sometimes mist my face afterwards if I want a less powdery look.
It can leave you a bit pink if you just brush it on. Being mineral based you don't have to wait the 15 minutes for it to start working and can go out right away. For $3 definitely worth checking out, it is also great for those that find liquid sunscreens break them out or just pain hate them

On a side note here are two FAILS for the month:

Mark Anthony Easy Lites:
This did not do a thing for me. All I ended up doing was running my GHD through my hair 5000 times and damaging it. I see on youtube it works on others, but they seem not to have colour treated hair, where I do. The bottle says it works on colour treated hair, but now I doubt that.

Organix Moroccan Argan Oil Conditioner - travel bottle
Ok this was a great conditioner, it was, but the travel size was awful. Why? Well it is so thick that it won't come out and the bottle is so small and the formula so thick that you get two uses out of it. You end up after one use needing to flush it out with water to get the rest out. So I would buy a full size but never a travel one of it again, just not worth it.
