I've mentioned it many times over the years, but I am what you call a bath person. So I when I was offered the chance to try out Me!Bath Unicorn Magic and Mystic Mermaid bath bombs I jumped at the opportunity.

Me!Bath makes bath bombs that you can buy in packages or individually. The Unicorn and Mermaid bath bombs are sold individually and are a bit larger at 159g.

Me!Bath is a brand based out of California that makes their bombs by hand in small batches there. Their packaging is biodegradable, and in this case very minimal. In addition, all their products are vegan, not tested on animals and free of artificial preservatives.

The big thing about these two bombs is that they have a blend of 6 oils in them, sunflower oil, jojoba oil, sweet almond oil, soybean oil, sesame seed oil and macadamia seed oil.

Both bombs fizzed for an extended amount of time, which was really nice. Due to the oil blend, there will be a thin layer of oil on the top of your bath. It helps hydrate your skin and stops it from drying. I found if I got up and then pulled the plug on my tub I was left with a nice coating of it on my skin. Also, because of the oil you may be left with a ring on your tub, it isn't anything too crazy, a quick spray with some tub cleaner and a wipe with a sponge will handle it.

Mystic Mermaid Bath Bomb:
At first, I was a little nervous about a bath bomb with a name like this, I thought I would be loaded with glitter or shimmer, but alas there is none and my worries were all for none.
While it looks light and blue as a bomb, it actually makes your bath water deeply blue, very ocean like. The scent is aquatic and slightly sweet. I found the scent quite intense, but not overwhelming, which was nice (because nothing is worse than a weakly scented bath bomb).

Unicorn Magic Bath Bomb:
This one also made me very happy not to have any glitter or shimmer in it (I really hate trying to clean that up). It turned my bath water a nice shade of pink that looks a lot like the bomb itself. It has a sweet scent that reminds me of a combo of fruits and cotton candy.
Overall I really enjoyed these bombs. I like that they are large, full of scent and colour all while being hydrating to the skin. Plus no shimmer, glitter or gold. These really felt like a high-end boutique bath bomb,s, but are so much cheaper and no need to go a boutique to get them.

Me!Bath Unicorn Magic and Mystic Mermaid bath bombs retail for $4.99 and can be found at most drug stores, mass retailers as well as amazon.ca and well.ca.
