Almay Eye Makeup Removers

No one likes leftover makeup on their eyes and removing it can sometimes be a pain. Luckily Almay has a whole line of eye makeup removers to help out.

Almay has launched three new formulations of their eye makeup removes, making the removal of eye makeup, simple, effective and with added benefits for you skin and eyes. I got the opportunity to try two of them out and went to the store and got one of their classic eye makeup remover items.

Almay Lash Care Gentle Eye Makeup Remover Pads.

These new wipes boast a gentle formula that promotes healthy and strong lashes. It is also oil free and leaves no greasy residue on the eye area.
I've been trying these for the last week and really like how easy they are to use. I love how one wipe treats both my eyes and removes all my makeup quite easy. I find they do not tug on the eye are and are great when I am just too lazy to go through a whole face routine (you know those days when you use face wipes but then you still have eye makeup on, I use these wipes on the eyes and everything is all gone).
Pros:
  • easy to use
  • convenient wipe format
  • oil free
  • no oily residue
  • one pad easily cleaned both eyes
  • only $7.50
  • Hypoallergenic and fragrance free
Cons:
  • .....none.

Almay Longwear & Waterproof Gentle Eye Makeup Remover.

This new Bi-Phasal remover boasts to remove stubborn longwear and waterproof makeup as well as it has moisturizing properties without oil or residue being left behind.
This is a bi-phasal formula that wipes everything off the lashes and lids quickly and efficiently. I found it  just as good as the high end counter bi-phasals but a lot cheaper (and easier to find). I also found it irritated my eyes a lot less then the high end brands do.
Another thing I like about this fairly big bottle is the nice big wide opening that doesn't let too much out. I often get removers with a fully open lip where I use too much or it or a tiny squirt bottle where I struggle to get it out. This one looks big but not too much comes out of it. I feel like GoldieLocks just talking about it.
Pros:
  • easy to use
  • effective - removes the hard to remove makeup
  • drug store bi-phasal = easy to find and great price
  • great bottle
  • oil free
  • no oily residue
  • Only $7.50
  • Hypoallergenic and fragrance free
Cons:
  • ....ok really I am trying to think of one.

Almay Oil-Free Makeup Eraser Sticks

These have been around for a while and when I saw them on sale at my drug store I had to buy it, actually I bought two of them.
I love any makeup remover stick for their on the go portability and connivence. They are a kit must for me too (screwing up or smudging an eyeliner is not an option).
All you do is snap the one end with the line and wait for the liquid to flow to the other end and clean up the smudge or mistake.

Pros
  • Great for on the go
  • Great for fixing liner that has gone awry (uneven wings, smudges, etc)
  • Small and Portable
  • They work really really well
  • Convenient
  • Hypoallergenic and fragrance free
Cons:
  • Can be a bit pricy. I got mine on sale at Shoppers for about $6 but their regular price is a bit much for what they are (shoppers was selling them for$9.99).
  • Can easily be replaced with a cotton swab and a good remover (like the one above)
There you go, my thoughts and mini reviews on three eye makeup removers. Let me know what you think and if you have tried any Almay removers before, I would love to hear what you think.
