Lypsyl For Kissable Lip

By Sunday, February 12, 2017 , , , , ,

Dry, cold and windy weather can wreck havoc on your lips. Add incredibly drying liquid lipsticks in to the mix and you might be like me, suffering from some chap and cracked lips.
Lucky for me I have a secret weapon in the fight for softer and healthier lips, Lypsyl lip balm. Since 1905, Lypsyl has been helping protect their lips from the environment and fight of dry lips.

While there is an Original Moisturizing Formula, a Sensitive Formula and even a Cold Sore Formula, I prefer the flavoured options.
I love a good cherry lip balm, and Lypsyl delivers with their version of Cherry. With no artificial colours, the stick is just white which I actually like (if I wanted a tinted balm I would buy a tinted balm).
Tropical is delicious combo of coconut and pineapple (yeah, its a Pina Colada lip balm). I love those two flavours, so this combo is a true hit with me. Both the Cherry and the Tropical have Coconut Oil in them.

Now on to the actual balm. The tube is a tad bit fatter then the average lip balm stick, making actually easier to apply to your lips. They are incredibly smooth on your lips, not oily, waxy or soft, just the right consistency to glide on and never skip along the lips.
I feel the balm instantly hydrate my lips in a way that I really appreciate. I have been known to use a lip oil before my balm at night for an extra boost, I don't feel I need it when using Lypsyl products.
When it is all said and done these babies have quickly become a staple in my life. While I love to have many lip balms hanging around for different needs and moods, these two have really helped my lips be hydrated and smooth during the really cold weather. One of the best things is how inexpensive their balms are, They run about $1.49-$2.49 at drug stores in Canada. With prices like that you really can't go wrong. Lypsyl shows that after over a hundred and twelve years, they know exactly what they are doing when it comes to your lips.

Have you tried Lypsyl lip balms before? What is your favourite flavour / type of lip balm?
