Joe Fresh Nail Polish Collection & Review

By Monday, May 30, 2011 , , ,

So as silly as it seems I thought this week I would spend the week reviewing and going over my favourite brands and colours of nail polishes in ... a week of nails!  Monday thru Friday I am going to do a post a day all about nails.
Joe Fresh Nail Polishes have quickly become my some of my favourite nail polishes.

Available at Joe Fresh stores and mainly larger Loblaws or Superstores across Canada. They sell for $4 each or 3 for $10. I often buy 3 of them simply because of the price. Joe Fresh makes a point of coming out with great new shades every season, in fact this spring they had 3 collections with 24 colours all together in addition to the permanent line of colours.

The quality of the polishes is quite nice, I always find on they go on very smooth and only require two coats. As well, even with my job they last a very long time before chipping on me.
Some of my favourites are this springs limited edition dark flaky Twilight, last years Peacock (so pretty, if you can still find it grab it, dark teal with metallic, check the laquer logs pic of it here.), Mallard (dark green, similar to opi's 'jade is the new black') and fuchsia (pink, my toes love it). I often debate picking up their matte top coat since I am no longer happy with Essie's Matte About You (maybe next time).
Peacock
Overall:
These are readily available in Canada, inexpensive and have great ever changing trendy colours. Really nothing negative to say about them other than the round lid takes a bit of time to get used to.
