September Luxe Box
By Jill Oliver-Fox Tuesday, September 27, 2011 loose button, luxe box
My September Luxe Box By Loose Button arrived to its usual excitement. I love getting this little present to myself every month.
Bonus this month they listened to their customers, they added a referral program...here is my link (if you wanted to give me credit for convincing you to join).
There is also mention of a change in October...exciting.
Meanwhile here is the contents of my box.
Review:
I love the Moroccan Oil, oh my I love it. Worth the price of the box right there. The Laura Mercier is a nice item to try and have. The Bronzer far too dark for me so I am not going to use it. Finally the face and neck toning gel is in a one time use pack so I probably wont use it either.
I am really happy with this box. I am going to start rating boxes like this with grades...this one gets a B+.

Curlformers Review
By Jill Oliver-Fox Tuesday, September 27, 2011 curlformers, hair, sallys
I little while back I got Curformers at my local Sally's. I tried them out a few times but never got my hair 100% dry and the curls turned out to just be waves.
Last week though I decided to sleep with them in for 100% dry hair and here are the results.
I must say this is the first time in my life I really have had curls. I cannot manage to get curlers, curling irons or anything else to work. I just am no talented in the hair department.
Pros:

Finger Combed out. |

I slept with them in, and I did not enjoy it at all. If I could give one tip it is if you are planning to sleep with them in, pull them down a bit so they are not so close to the scalp and can be slept on easier.
Easy to put in, easy to take out, great results.
Pros:
No heat needed for curls
Easy to use
Great effect
Cons:
Expensive vs an curling iron
Hard to find in Canada (Sally's or eBay)
Uncomfortable to sleep in
Overall:
I love love love the effect of these. I really cannot state how happy I was with how it turned out. I am really not able to curl my hair with heat so this was great idiot proof option for me.
My Dresser...Perfume and Body Products.
By Jill Oliver-Fox Sunday, September 25, 2011 collection, randomOh so not grown-up with the stuffies on top, but hey it is what it is. This is my old dresser from age 2-16. I just reunited with it this January when my mom gave it to me when we moved into our bigger place.
My hubby uses it as his dresser but I keep my stuffies on it and out perfume/colognes and my body products in its shelfs.
Skin care:
I have some Equate bio oil, some avon lotion, a palmers stick, body shop oil and body lotion spray, a body shop hand and foot lotion and a mark body butter, scar cream, marry kay hand scrub, avon anti itch spray and proclaim lotion.
Bath and Body Works body creams and body sprays in Forever Sunshine and Butterfly Flower.
Perfumes:
Various Happy by Clinique roll on perfumes. Some don't have their labels still on them.Clinique Happy, Happy Heart and Happy Heart Lotion
Various KC minis, Mark Ibiza Sole and a Leo Massage Oil.
Nina Richi L'air, DKNY Pure lotion and the Clinique Happy perfumes again.
Mark Lemon Sugar body spray, DKNY Be Delicious, Avon Make Me Smile, Mark Earth, Cool Water Lotion and Perfume.
Mark Jasmine Honey body spray, Avon Ungaro, The Healing Garden Green Tea and the other products from before.
The man's stuff. Intimitly Beckam, Cool Water, Gucci, Aiddas (in the back) and Avon Ironman.Wow that is big collection. To be honest I don't wear perfume often, I should wear it more. I personally love Happy, Ibiza Sole and Be Delicious. Cool water still hangs out because I just can't part with it. Most of the rest I never ever wear.
As for the man, most were gifts and the only one I personally like him to wear (when he rarely does) is Ironman.
Hope you all liked the post.
Yet another....Bath and Body Works Outlet Haul
By Jill Oliver-Fox Sunday, September 25, 2011 bath and body works outletSo I went back...I don't know why...I must stop going all together to the Bath and Body Works Outlet. It just is so convently located nearby that I couldn't resist.
I vow from now on to only go to look for Forever Sunshine products or gifts for birthdays or other occasions....I shall not buy unless I have a reason...not because I want stuff.
That being said...here is my haul
Leaves: I got 2 plug in refills ($3.63 for them), Leaves candle ($3.13), Scentegg ($1.75) and room spray ($1.75). I got another of the sprays for my sister and I also got her a cinnamon oil, she liked the cinnamon smell in my apartment the other day, they didn't have a spray so I thought leaves was a good substitution.Butterfly Flower: Shower Gel ($2.75, I only had the cream version, so I though I should get it while I could),2 room sprays ($1.75 each) and 2 oils ($1.88 each). I loaded up on the sprays and oil since I haven't seen them since they opened the outlet. I was kicking myself for not getting more last time I saw them...now I have no worries.
Hand sanitizer spray in Fresh Lemon ($1.13) and Scent-portable 2 refill pack in Calipso Sun ($4). I also got my sister a mini Carried Away ($1, her name is Carrie, I thought it was cute).
Burning cinnamon oil an unscented candle and my leaves candle.
Mac Posh Paradise Paint Pots
By Jill Oliver-Fox Friday, September 23, 2011 Mac, paint pots, posh paradise
Posh Paradise was released a few weeks back by mMAc, and with it the much anticipated launch of 8 new limited edition Paint Pots.
I live all year for the random and few paint pots the Mac will grace us with. Last years Coral Crepe was amazing, while the winters Cham-Pale only broke my heart with disappointment.
This years seem to be much more lively and exciting. I stopped by the store and picked up 3 of them for myself.
Treasure Hunt - Light Pearled Yellow (pearl)
HyperViolet - Deep Violet (cream)
Half-Wild - mid-tone purple (frost)
I love all of them. I have no colours like these at all. Unlike the ones from the winter, they have amazing pay off and texture.

I had my birthday the other week. I got some goodies from friends and family, as well I went on a bit of a shopping spree.

My sister-in-law was so great this year, she got me a mixture of goodies from various counters she has friends at.
It seems I got the entire recent Lancome GWP, a full sized Estee Lauder day wear and a whole bunch of other goodies.

I went into Walmart and got myself 2 Wet n' Wild nail polishes (Wild Shine in Sparkled and Night Prowl), I love the darker one (Night Prowl), so pretty. I also got 2 Hard Candy Baked Eyeshadow Duos (High Maintenance and Secret Rendezvous). I also got 2 bottles of their generic bio oil for $18.97.
I got tons of new fall clothes...which I might take pics of later.

What's In My Shower?
By Jill Oliver-Fox Friday, September 16, 2011 random
Last week was "What's In My Purse?", this week it's "What's In My Shower?" time.
Now before we get into this, I live in an apartment, therefore the state of my shower is not necessarily solely up to me or my hubby. I've done all I can to keep the grout looking it's best and the room in general.
Now on to the shower/bath.
There is a built in towel rack inside the shower (this is the second apartment I've lived in and they both had this, is this normal?), I never used this for anything, but recently I saw my sisters apartment upstairs and saw she kept stuff on top, so I stole the idea.
All of this is my stuff:
Next Rack Up is the man's skin stuff:
That's it, hope you like it.
