I tried to take lip swatches for you guys but massively failed, I guess it is something I will have to work on.

On to the review.

I love sheer glossy lipsticks, and these fall exactly into that category. They go on super smooth and weightless, gloss in look and texture while giving just the right amount of colour.

Perfect for anyone who is looking for something less heavy or formal than a tradition lipstick, something less goopy than gloss and something more current than what they have right now.

They are a great way to add stronger colours to your makeup without overpowering the look or making it too bold. If you thought a red, coral or even purple was out of the question for you, give these a shot, they will surprise you at how they take your natural lip colour and work it into the mix, as well the sheerness and glossy texture definitely lighten up the bold shades and make them much more wearable.

Pros:

  • light and not heavy (50% less wax than reg lipsticks)
  • glossy
  • silky on the lips
  • not drying
  • 12  shades coming out so lots of choices
  • modern look
  • great packaging, sturdy and looks nice
Con:
  • $12.99 for a drug store lipstick is a bit much but worth it in my opinion (there are always sales!)
Overall:
I haven't been in love with a  complete line of lipstick or lip colours in very very long time. I cannot keep these off my lips.
My favourites have been Violet Chiffon (finally a purple I can wear and make it look good), Cherry Tulle (a red that isn't stuffy and formal, I feel anyone can wear this and it would look amazing on them), Velvet Fushia shade ushia (a fushia that is wonderful to wear , not over the top but a bright perfect for the summer time), and Sunset Angora ( coral is the shade of the year after all).

I highly recommend checking these out when they hit stores, they are perfect in my eyes.
