So, as silly as it seems I thought this week I would spend the week reviewing and going over my favourite brands and colours of nail polishes in ... a week of nails! Monday thru Friday I am going to do a post a day all about nails.

I wanted to do a NOTD using Peacock and Mallard from Joe Fresh. Since they are teal and green colours I thought they would look good together. They are also both bird names so I thought it was cute.

First I tried to do mallard on the whole nail and Peacock on the moon...there just wasn't enough contrast. Then I tried the reverse...nope.

So I've done an accent nail. All the nails are mallard with peacock on the ring finger.

I've never done a accent nail so I didn't want to go too nuts. To up the boldness of the look, I chose to add Essie's Matte About You to the mallard nails and Sally Hansen's Hidden Treasure to the peacock.

So there you go, an uncleaned up version of it. This was my first time wearing an accent nail, it was fun but I don't know if I would do it again. I wanted to get a nice finished (cleaned up) photo but I smudged a nail so I failed to do so.
